The game of casino blackjack or 21 is by far the most popular table game
offered in gambling establishments. In Online Blackjack, you and the
dealer (the computer) are dealt two cards to start. The main aim of
Blackjack is get as close to 21 points as possible without going over
("bust").
Objective
The object of Blackjack is for the total of your cards to be closer to
21 than the dealer's cards, without exceeding 21. In Blackjack, aces
count as either 1 or 11, face cards as 10, and cards 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,
8, and 9 are at face value.
The Game
There are 6 52-card decks in our online Blackjack. The decks are
shuffled after each hand. Players can double on any 2 cards, but can’t
double after a split. Pairs can’t be resplit. The dealer must hit on
all totals of 16 or less. The dealer must stand on all totals of 17 or
more. The maximum wager is $2,500, the minimum wager is $1.
Place your bet by clicking on the token you wish to bet. Each click
increases your bet. Click on the "Deal" button when you are finished
betting and ready to receive cards. The dealer will then deal you two
cards, face up, and two to him/herself. Kings, Queens, Jacks, and 10's
each count as 10. Aces count as 1 or 11. All other cards 2-9, count at
their numeric value. If your first two cards are an Ace and a 10 value
card, you have Blackjack and will be paid one and one-half times the
wager (3 to 2) unless the dealer also has Blackjack. If you don't have
Blackjack you may continue to draw cards attempting to total as close to
21 as possible without exceeding 21, in which case you "bust" and loose
your wager.
- Deal Once you have picked the wager amount,
click on the "Deal" button. This will give you the first two
cards.
- Hit You want an additional card(s).
- Stand Draw no more cards and start the
dealer's turn.
- Split If your first two cards have the same
point value, you may split them into two separate hands by
placing a second bet equal to the original bet. You then proceed
to draw cards. You are able to draw as many cards as you like on
each split hand, but if you split two aces, you receive only one
additional card for each ace. If the original hand had an ace
and after the Split you came over 21, the ace would be counted
as 1. If you split two aces and one of your hands totals 21, it
is counted as 21 and not Blackjack.
- Double You will match the original bet (or
double down for less) on the first two cards dealt and receive
only one additional card. Double down wagering is not permitted
on a Blackjack.
- Insurance Whenever the dealer's up-card is
an Ace, the player has the option of taking insurance for half
the amount of the bet. If you wish to take insurance, click on
the "Insurance" button. If you do not wish to take insurance,
you simply click on the "Pass" button to proceed with the rest
of the hand. When you buy insurance, you are effectively betting
on the fact that the dealer's down card is a ten or face card,
ie. a natural Blackjack. If the dealer does have a 10 ranking
card, the player is immediately paid 2-to-1 on the insurance
bet, but the original wager is lost unless the player too has a
Blackjack and pushes with the dealer. If the dealer does not
have a natural Blackjack, the rest of the hand is played out as
usual, and you lose your insurance money.
- Rebet Place the same bet as in the previous
round and deal the cards.
Payoffs
If the hand that you bet on wins, you are paid 1 to 1. If you win with a
natural Blackjack, you will be paid off at 3-to-2 odds, which means you
get your original bet back plus 150% profit. For example, if you bet $50
and win with a natural twenty-one, you get $50 (your bet) plus $75 (your
bet plus half of your bet), which totals to $125.
You may turn on/off the Tips, Sound and Music during the game by
clicking on the "Options" button located in the lower right-hand area of
the console. The option is turned on when the checkbox is checked and it
is turned off when the checkbox is unchecked. To buy online BlackJack
