Multihand Blackjack

Multihand Blackjack

Multihand Blackjack is a relatively new way to play Blackjack. Multihand Blackjack is very similar to single player Blackjack. The main difference is that players can bet on up to five hands and play them all independently. Playing Multihand Blackjack in an online casino gives you the time to play each of your blackjack hands thoughtfully, without feeling rushed.

The Game
There are 6 52-card decks in our Online Multihand Blackjack for sale. The decks are shuffled after each hand. Players can double on any 2 cards, but can’t double after a split. Pairs can’t be resplit.

You can play with up to five hands simultaneously. To place a bet, select a chip by clicking on it, then select bet area and click on it. Every click on the bet area increases your bet and 'shift-click' will clear your bet. To play with two hands, place bets in two bet areas, to play with three hands, place bets in three bet areas. And so on. Of course, you can play with a single hand only, by placing a bet in one bet area only.

  • Deal Once you have picked the wager amount, click on the "Deal" button. This will give you the first two cards.
  • Hit You want an additional card(s).
  • Stand Draw no more cards and start the dealer's turn.
  • Split If your first two cards have the same point value, you may split them into two separate hands by placing a second bet equal to the original bet. You then proceed to draw cards. You are able to draw as many cards as you like on each split hand, but if you split two aces, you receive only one additional card for each ace. If the original hand had an ace and after the Split you came over 21, the ace would be counted as 1. If you split two aces and one of your hands totals 21, it is counted as 21 and not Blackjack.
  • Double You will match the original bet (or double down for less) on the first two cards dealt and receive only one additional card. Double down wagering is not permitted on a Blackjack.
  • Insurance Whenever the dealer's up-card is an Ace, the player has the option of taking insurance for half the amount of the bet. If you wish to take insurance, click on the "Insurance" button. If you do not wish to take insurance, you simply click on the "Pass" button to proceed with the rest of the hand. When you buy insurance, you are effectively betting on the fact that the dealer's down card is a ten or face card, ie. a natural Blackjack. If the dealer does have a 10 ranking card, the player is immediately paid 2-to-1 on the insurance bet, but the original wager is lost unless the player too has a Blackjack and pushes with the dealer. If the dealer does not have a natural Blackjack, the rest of the hand is played out as usual, and you lose your insurance money.
  • Rebet Place the same bet as in the previous round and deal the cards.
Payoffs
If the hand that you bet on wins, you are paid 1 to 1. If you win with a natural Blackjack, you will be paid off at 3-to-2 odds, which means you get your original bet back plus 150% profit. For example, if you bet $50 and win with a natural twenty-one, you get $50 (your bet) plus $75 (your bet plus half of your bet), which totals to $125.
